ABOUT ME

Biography

Nicole Panebianco is a sophomore from Beltsville, MD studying theater and psychology at the University of Maryland.  Her interests include painting and sculpture.  Although she is not sure what career she will pursue after graduation, she is interested in scene painting, costume design, and attending graduate school to be a licensed clinical therapist.  Whichever path she chooses, she hopes to share her experiences and creativity in a way that positively influences the world around her.

As a College Park Arts Scholar, Nicole believes that art is a form of expression that can be used to communicate past the literal into the symbolic and create a universal language that can be understood across cultures.  She wants to encourage artistic expression as a means of healing, whether that be through therapy, theater or otherwise.
